The Alvah Udall Suite is one of our king-size bedrooms. It is located upstairs and faces the south side of the property, capturing a beautiful view of the wooded area behind the Inn, and receives the late afternoon sun. This room is decorated in soft blue hues and has a beautiful brocade bedspread with matching drapes.

About Alvah Udall
Born in 1807, Alvah Udall, esq. was one of the founding members of Hiram College. Along with Carnot Mason and Pelatiah Allyn, Jr., Udall was instrumental in rallying local support for establishing the College in the present-day village of Hiram. As a member of the building committee for the new institution, Udall furnished the brick for the College's first edifice, Old Main, from his farm located just east of the campus. He served continuously as a member of the College's Board of Trustees beginning in 1854, and was president of the board from 1880 to 1886. Udall died in 1887.
